What's Galjin?

Galjin is a start-up, infotainment Gyaru magazine about fashion, beauty, lifestyle and so much more, for women and people with a high tendency towards femininity. Galjin is primarily aimed at "Gyaru," which represents a Japanese subculture. However, Gyarus are no longer just found in Japan, but all over the world! Want to know exactly what a gyaru is? Galjin answers all these questions! Our Magazine is intended not only to be fun, but also informative, insightful and also deals with more serious topics! Although Galjin is based in Germany, it's mainly an online magazine written in English to give people all over the world the opportunity to read Galjin.💓

22.09.2025 - Story basics completed
Work on the manga's main story is now complete! The foundation, the entire plot and the basic building blocks of the story, has been laid. The basic idea for the short stories in the magazine has also been finalized. Now we'll further develop the story and the short stories in detail. But for us, this is already a big step and a reason to celebrate! 🥳

10.09.2025 - Standalone Manga!
As the manga's story progressed, we realized it will be too complex to be presented in just one short manga in the magazine. After much deliberation, we decided to create Glam! as a standalone manga. It will be created in black-white and faithful to an original Japanese manga. The magazine will, of course, continue to feature a short manga/comic, featuring the characters from Glam!. This short manga is intended to be educational and humorous and presented in colorful format. 📖

03.09.2025 - Manga Story - Work in process
Work on the manga's story has now begun. It will be an exciting, touching, and funny story about the university life of Giya (our heroine) and various gyarus.

31.08.2025 - Manga name decided!
After a short period of deliberation, we've come up with a fitting name for the manga. The title is "Glam! Gals Sensation!". We think it's simply fantastic, and we hope you do too! ✨

23.08.2025 - Galjin! Manga - Character design
As you all already know, the magazine will also feature a short manga. The character development and design phase has now begun.

We are pleased to announce that Galjin! will be getting its own website. The site is created and now under construction! 🛠️

10.07.2025 - New Galjin! Logo Design
we have upgraded our logo to better reflect the character and flair of Galjin. We also made some changes that were very important to us, such as for the readability and meaningfulness. We love the new design and hope you like it as much as we do! 🩷
